Broadcast Management Group is looking for a full-time Production Account Manager to provide ongoing support for studio and on-location productions as well as develop new client relationships. This position will provide hands-on support for our Chicago studio operation and assist with other company-related production jobs throughout the country. The Production Account Manager will be responsible for building production schedules, building and maintaining budgets, managing freelance bookings, managing and growing our freelance network in Chicago, assisting with technical functions in the control room as needed (training will be provided), and serving as BMG’s production account management representative for the Mid-West region. The Production Account Manager must have extensive experience working in live, multi-camera production environments, events and have strong industry connections in Chicago. Ideal candidates must be very outgoing, have strong presentation skills, and a track-record of building long-term client and vendor relationships.


Essential Functions:

             Serve as Account manager with assigned clients fostering a healthy long-term relationship

             Create and distribute weekly production schedules for our Chicago operation

             Book, schedule, and manage all freelance labor for our Chicago operation

             Expand the company’s freelance database for the Chicago region

             Facilitate the training of freelance technical personnel to fill-in on an as-needed basis

             Serve in a Production Account Manager capacity for BMG-related projects nationwide

             Create and maintain production budgets

             Create and maintain production books

             Develop production proposals

             Help to promote and market BMG’s services to potential clients in the Chicago market

             Set up potential client meetings in the Chicago area for production, event and consulting/engineering services

             Keep the CEO informed of the daily operations in Chicago

             Write a weekly report summarizing the activities and goals for the upcoming week, due each Friday by 5pm



             5+ years of relevant experience

             Production management experience

             Strong Writing skills

             Budgeting experience

             Experience managing teams

             Experience building schedules and managing deliverables

             Writing new business proposals

             Microsoft Word, Excel, and Google Docs



             Editing experience

             Technical production experience

             Live streaming experience
