Production Assistant


Job Summary:

Broadcast Management Group (BMG) is looking for an outgoing and organized Production Assistant to work directly for BMG’s Chief Executive Officer and EVP.  This position will work on a wide range of task, as described below, from assisting the CEO/EVP on administrative duties to performing production-related tasks. The primary functions of this position include administrative duties, developing new business proposals, conducting market research, drafting correspondence, assisting with marketing efforts, database management, making travel arrangements. The Production Assistant will also be trained on various production positions. Seeking candidates who are interested in learning every aspect of running a production company. Flexible hours and occasional weekend work required.



Primary responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Assisting with proposal development
  • Database management
  • Conducting market research
  • Assisting with internal marketing, including writing for various social media channels, writing blogs, writing press releases, writing and coding marketing emails
  • Confirming appointments
  • Managing the CEO’s calendar
  • Booking travel arrangements
  • Drafting correspondence 
  • Communicating with vendors and contractors
  • Assisting with the planning for various production projects
  • Updating website copy via Word Press



  • Strong writing skills
  • Self-starter with an outgoing and positive attitude
  • Must have live TV production experience
  • Word Press experience
  • Social media savvy
  • Strong experience with Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Google Docs
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, ability to effectively manage multiple projects and ability to take initiative
  • Ability to travel as needed
  • 3+ years of relevant experience



  • Experience editing
  • Experience with the full Adobe suite
  • Experience shooting video
  • SEO Certified
